Tirage began with a moment every parent knows well: two exhausted adults, two babies under one, and a very long day.
Harvest 2023 was chaos in the most beautiful, bone-tired way. As a winemaker, 7-day workweeks and 12-hour shifts aren’t a season—they’re a lifestyle. Meanwhile at home, Ali was doing the evening marathon: baths, bottles, wrestling tiny humans into pajamas, and finally collapsing on the couch in search of one small ritual to unwind.
The wine fridge was glowing like a beacon. But opening a full bottle on a Tuesday night? That’s not our vibe. It felt wasteful, impractical, and honestly—too formal for the moment. What she really wanted was great wine… in a format that fit real life.
And that’s when the idea sparked:
What if premium wine didn’t always come with the commitment of a cork?
What if you could have just enough for the mood you’re in?
One thing led to another, and we found ourselves leaving northern Virginia for Orlando. The timing was right to launch Tirage and bring this idea to reality: a brand that blends craft winemaking with the pace, pressure, and playfulness of everyday life.
Along the way, we realized something powerful—Tirage isn’t just a convenient way to drink wine. It is an extension of who we are.
We’re unpretentious. We’re a little iconoclastic. We love great wine but refuse the outdated rules around it. And we care deeply about doing things responsibly—cans mean less waste, lower carbon footprint, and zero guilt when you just want one perfect pour.
Tirage is our life in a can: crafted with intention, made for moments big and small, and rooted in the belief that great wine should meet you exactly where you are—on the couch, at the beach, at a backyard dinner, or after bedtime with the baby monitor glowing beside you.
What started as an off-the-cuff idea during a very long season of life has become something real, tangible, and unbelievably thrilling. We still pinch ourselves every day that this brand exists, and that we get to share it with you.
